ARTIST STATEMENT
My artistic approach emerges from observing the world around me, reflecting on my lived experiences within society, and exploring the complex relationships between humans, nature, and the environment.
For me, art is a means of reflecting the spirit of the time—a way of understanding and expressing what unfolds within society, including aspects of everyday life that often exist beneath the surface and beyond direct expression.
Nature is one of the most important sources of inspiration in my work. What draws my attention is not merely the visual appearance of natural elements, but the relationships between different textures, forms, and entities, as well as the order that emerges from these relationships.
I do not perceive nature as a collection of separate elements. Instead, I see it as a living, interconnected world in which each component gains meaning through its relationship with others.
My artistic practice involves moving beyond the representation of nature toward a process of giving life to its elements, allowing each one to become an independent entity with its own identity and a narrative reflecting the world around it.
To visualize the ideas and images in my mind, I deform subjects and combine realistic elements with mixed-media techniques. This approach has remained a central concern in my practice, helping me develop a personal visual language and a distinctive way of expressing my perception of the world.
I also draw upon the fundamental and essential principles of visual art, which form the foundation of painting. These principles serve as practical tools that help me develop and create my work with greater precision.
